Over-socialization

There is no denying the fact that whatever achievements human being has got, they owe it wholly or partially to their socializing nature. We think of an idea and bring about some change in the world through that idea but if we would have been unable to express this idea and communicate the nitty-gritties of that idea to our co-workers or future generations, we could never have been the same force to reckon with. But useful as much this tendency of communication may be, it must have some limitations. Why communicate something that is not important for either the party that is conveying the message or for the party that is getting the information. Why the great urge to listen to each and very peace of information and to act like a broadcaster for the same. In my view, this tendency of over-communication acts as a barrier for one’s productivity and efficiency if not his peace of mind. While I have observed this tendency more in female fraternity nevertheless my so called corporate experience has proved me wrong. My office sometimes seems to me as a set of some reality show like Roadies, a slight exaggeration on my part, where everyone seems to be propagandising and conniving against each other. While some are more dramatic and idiotic in their approach, others join them too whenever there is a chance albeit with a lesser zeal. My preparation certainly keeps me aloof from them and that’s why I have become an enigma, a secretive figure for them. Frankly speaking even I sometimes feel compelled to engage in these conversations however unproductive and time-consuming they might be. It seems that this is in the very nature of human being to be able to talk to others whether it is for any purpose or otherwise. I can’t help but think if the world would have been a better place if this tendency of over-socialisation in human beings wasn’t there.
